Taken together, you can earn 14 CEs, including 14 ethics CEs, by attending this popular one- or two-day supervision training created by the NASW Metro DC and Virginia chapters for social workers to learn best practices and enhanced skills as a clinical supervisor.
The first interactive training, “Mastering the Ethical Divide of Digital Technology and Clinical Social Work Supervision,” (7 CEs, including 7 ethics CEs) on June 28 will explore the ethical divide of digital technology in supervision and will earn you 7 CEs, including 7 ethics CEs. You’ll engage in an innovative workshop that blends new knowledge with industry scenarios and application of the latest professional resources, including the NASW Code of Ethics and 2017 Technology and Social Work Practice.
The second training, “Trauma-Directed Supervision: Awareness, Advancement, Activation,” will be held June 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET and will focus on trauma-directed supervision, a novel, evidence-based approach to supervision that ensures workforce emotional safety and enhances client outcomes. The course offers 7 CEs, including 7 ethics CEs.
Cost total for both trainings is $280, NASW members; $364, nonmembers. One-day registration is $154, NASW members, $200, nonmembers.
