Virginia General Election Results Include Wins for NASW-Endorsed Candidates Kiggins, Scott, and Kaine; 13 Electoral Votes for Harris-Walz

All Virginia congressional candidates endorsed by the NASW Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) Committee won their campaigns Tuesday, Nov. 5: incumbents Sen. Tim Kaine (D), Rep. Jennifer Kiggins (R-District 2), and Rep. Bobby Scott (D, District 3).

Voters also directed all 13 state electoral votes to NASW-endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz for President and Vice President, respectively.

NASW acknowledges that Donald Trump has been re-elected and will become 47th president of the United States. We are deeply troubled by statements Trump has made regarding immigrants, women, people who are LGBTQIA2S+, and people of color. NASW will challenge any of his policies that harm our nation’s most vulnerable populations. Read the full statement at https://tinyurl.com/yj2dbm2c
