Professional Development

NASW has many training resources available to members for free or at a discounted rate. NASWVA provides continuing education programs and has been designated by the VA Board of Social Work and the Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education programs for social workers and other mental health professionals.

• You can earn all of your needed continuing education through NASW Virginia and NASW. Members receive deep discounts on all professional development.

 

• NASWVA provides a diverse range of year-round training that fulfills regulatory requirements and encompasses offerings such as Licensure exam preparation, multiple Supervision courses, workshops, and more. 

 

Conferences

• NASWVA's Annual Conference provides both in-person and virtual options, offering professionals the opportunity to earn required credit hours while networking with hundreds of peers. Online CE institute

• NASW has hundreds of CE courses in a variety of formats—webinars, webcasts, podcasts, presentations, and more. All courses offered through this program are accredited by either the NASW National Office or one of 55 NASW Chapters.
